Bring a blanket, light snacks or a full lunch, and enjoy the nice November weather with your neighbors. We have FREE picnic snack packs while supplies last, so be sure to grab a free ticket, and show up early.
This is a no alcohol event with a focus on sustainability. So please pack your picnic basket appropriately and use reusable, recyclable, and/or compostable containers.
We are partnering with Keep Austin Fed to host a shelf-stable food drive as well as #GiveHealthy virtual food drive as part of the Everybody Eats Community Picnic in Eva Carrillo de Garcia Park
1 in 7 people in Austin do not know where their next meal is coming from. 1 in 3 of them are children.
Over 30% of food in the U.S. goes uneaten, mostly going to landfills where it generates environmentally harmful methane gas.
Keep Austin Fed is a champion for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity and they serve our community through the redistribution of wholesome, nutritious food.
As part of the Everybody Eats Community Picnic in in Eva Carrillo de Garcia Park, we will have free snack-able sides for the first 750 attendees. So bring a blanket and a sandwich to turn it into a brown bag picnic lunch!

All at no charge so everyone can break bread together as a community, especially youth attendees. All unclaimed snack packs will be redistributed to neighbors in need by Keep Austin Fed.

Keep Austin Fed rescues primarily wholesome, perishable food from businesses all over Austin throughout the year. We invite you to donate fresh foods through the #GiveHealthy virtual food drive.
At the end of the event, they will work with a distributor to deliver the food directly to our Hub to be distributed.
At Cyclovia ATX you can also donate non-perishable food items in-person. Keep Austin Fed has created a list of most frequently requested items from their partners, particularly those who serve children, older adults, people with disabilities, and our unhoused community.
Think “snacks” and “easy to eat”, especially stuff that doesn’t require any cooking.
