If you live in the Windsor Park Neighborhood, you may be within walking or wheelchair distance of Cyclovia ATX.
“Walking distance” is a subjective distance, but generally refers to a manageable distance for walking to a destination, often around 0.25 to 1.0 mile or a 5-20 minute walk.
Walking means more quality time outdoors getting free easy exercise. And with the high quality sidewalk network, it is ADA accessible as well.
By Bike
Cyclivia ATX isn’t ALL about bikes, but bikes are a big part of it.
With all of the high quality high-comfort bike routes in the Mueller, Cherrywood, Delwood 2, and Windsor Park Neighborhoods and the inter-connecting bicycle corridors, why not ride your bike to the event?
The online Austin Bike Map offers up-to-date information about available routes by reported comfort levels, so you can easily plan a safe and lower-stress bike ride.
If you have ever ridden your bike to Blanton Elementary, Harris Elementary, or the Windsor Park Branch Library, then you can easily ride to Cyclovia ATX.

Neighborhood routes with frequent stops – the workhorse of public transit, count on CapMetro Bus to get you just about anywhere you need to go throughout Austin.

Using Pickup
Say hello to Pickup by CapMetro, Our Neighborhood Rideshare!
Pickup is a limited area shared ride shuttle service. If you live in in one of the service zones, you can use CapMetro’s Pickup app to arrange on-demand transit service to bus stops, appointments, grocery or drugstores and anywhere within a few miles. It even has a bus style bike rack, all for just $1.25, and kids ride free!
The Pickup Northeast ATX service zone provides rides for WINDSOR PARK & NEAR SPRINGDALE/ROGGE LANE on Weekdays, 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturdays, 10 AM to 6 PM.
Using Rideshare
There are a range of Rideshare options in addition to Pickup by CaMetro, to help you get where you are going.
On-Demand Ridesharing is through app-based services which allow users to book rides with independent drivers or even Waymo’s autonomous vehicles.

Why drive alone when you can enjoy the trip with friends and/or family?
Carpooling also means everyone will have fewer parking spaces that you will need to find and only one bill if you end up using metered parking or parking garages.
You can use the ConnectSmart Mobility App to make a group and ride with friends and family or match with potential carpool buddies. You’ll earn cash rewards when you use the app, plus you’ll be entered into Movability’s Fall Festival Challenge prize drawings.
Car Parking
Most residential areas next to Cyclovia ATX have free on-street parking.
Please be a good neighbor and do NOT block any of our neighbor’s driveways. Not only is that not nice, you will likely have to deal with retrieving your car from impound after it gets towed.
We are coordinating with Blanton Elementary and Harris Elementary to be able to use their parking lots for event parking. If this use gets approved, we will update this section once they do.
